Ask what the minimum applies to
An MOQ can apply to a product, colour, size, pack or total order value. Ask which unit the listing uses and whether each variant has its own minimum. A displayed minimum does not establish that different colours or products can be combined; obtain confirmation for the exact mix you want.
Keep sample and bulk quotes separate
Confirm the sample price, quantity, domestic delivery cost and any agreed preparation requirements. Ask separately for a quote at your intended bulk quantity. Sample costs are not automatically refunded or credited against a later order; only include a credit in your budget once the supplier has confirmed its terms.
Use the sample as a written reference
Record the selected size, material, colour, dimensions, packaging and checks that matter for your use. Compare the received sample with that specification, then confirm the specification again for the bulk order. A satisfactory sample reduces uncertainty but does not guarantee that every unit in a later batch will match it.
Choose quantity by demand and total cost
If the minimum is too high, ask about a smaller trial quantity, an approved variant mix or a different listing. Acceptance and prices depend on the supplier. Compare the total cost and unsold-stock risk before increasing the order. Do not add unwanted goods simply to reach a shipping weight threshold.
Prepare a table with the product link, variant, sample quantity and intended bulk quantity. Ask the supplier to confirm each line before approving a purchase.
Inspection, returns and extra requirements
Basic inspection has no extra service charge. Share any specific inspection requirements before purchasing so the team can confirm the scope.
Eligible returns and exchanges depend on the supplier’s policy. Assistance has no extra service charge, but supplier acceptance is not guaranteed.
Assembly, wooden crating, other extra requirements and customer-requested alternative transport or delivery require a separate quote.
